The new action-thriller movie Sacrifice has assembled a star-studded cast that includes Anya Taylor-Joy, Chris Evans, and Brendan Fraser. Evans is a free agent after playing Captain America in the Marvel Cinematic Universe for the better part of a decade, while Taylor-Joy is a versatile young performer who has achieved recognition for projects as varied as The Queen’s Gambit, The Witch, and The Super Mario Bros. Given Gavras’ proclivities as a director, it seems probable that Sacrifice will provide a kaleidoscope of genres, bringing in elements of melodrama, horror, arthouse, and more. However, whatever combination he chooses for the movie, the four cast members that have already boarded the project boast the perfect blend of experience to bring it to life. This includes Fraser, whose facility with dramatic work was proven by his Oscar win, though his early career was defined by iconic action blockbusters including The Mummy and George of the Jungle.
